Fitness Tips

1. The stance for dead lifts is similar to squats that are your feet are just slightly wider than shoulder width apart.

2. The first muscles to engage on the dead lift should be your legs.

3. You should always work out whole body exercises first: Squats, Dead lifts, Dynamic Pushups, Pull Ups.

4. Never round out when you are performing squats and dead lifts.

5. Don’t negate your core, practice core exercises such as single leg dead lifts, hip extension, external rotation, planks.. etc….

6. When performing proper squats, stick your butt out.

7. If you are having trouble maintaining your balance during a squat, place 2 5 pound plates under your heels and perform the exercise.

8. If you also need help having a straight back position use a dow rod to practice proper form.

9. Increase the difficult of a barbell curl by curling the barbell on one arm.
