sup folks,
back again saturday morning and 2 days before spring semster starts for PTA school, been hearing from other classmates that this will be a hard semster so yeah kinda nervous about it, but ready to get it done with it. just hope the regulations are in favor of the importance of the PTA and I made the right choice in pursuring a career in the PTA feild. besides that I been keeping myself busy by exercise and mental building exercise. 5 minutes a day will learn to alot of learning when you multiply 5 minutes by 365 days a year. well till then.

Sup folks, back again. well today wasnt the day I planned it to be, i knew one of these days would come and yeah i was waiting for it. it's funny how some things can ruin a day. argh but oh wells. even though i feel like shit, theres not much i can do about it. thats life, gay as it is. but yeah besides just got my doc forms filled out, so i hope that all my doc forms are filled out before i go on clinicals let's c how this goes. argh been back and forth, i just want to get it done with it. already, wells besides that still going on the grind and try to let this bad day past. and accept that bad days are bound to happen and the best you can do is survive the bad days and live for the good ones.

Sup folks, back again, so mad at myself that i didnt write a journal entry for yesterday, well at least today i got my doc app and got my shots so hopefully i am finished with all the damn shots and i am able to go on my clinicals for PTA. Damn never been to the docs so much in one year. argh. but yeah. currently watching chinese movies to achieve my goals of speaking chinese before next year, also today i begun to start popping and locking again so that i pop and lock. hey 5 mins a day will add up and plus it's fun and it goes by fast. well till then later.

Back again, been a couple of days since I last wrote, finally got my laptop back and working. Time for some journaling time, so yeah been still trying my best to learn chinese. Been going well so far, can't wait till next year when I am fluent in chinese. going to be a great time. besides that still continuing with lifting, eating well and improving my muay thai skills. To condition my skins, i still bang a stick on the shins to toughen em up and i started hitting the heavy bag without any padding to condition my hands. Also i have begun to incorporate the jump rope into my workout and hope to become a expert at it. hmmm whats esle, just trying to keep the face up to par and eating dale carnegine books to improve my speech and being able to express meself more confindently. also i have decided that I will incorporate doing 100 pullups and pushups a day, let's see how goes when school start. started next monday, so nervous.

back again this time on my new brand spanking new ipad keyboard, love this thing, but yeah currently i am watching a chinese movie so that I am able to learn chinese this year, besides my gym goals, i also want to successful complete pta school and hopefully land a job the physical therapy field, here is my plan for my career:
2012 - finish up PTA school
2013 - graduate from PTA and then pass the PTA board exam
2013-2015 work as a PTA (gain 200 hours of work experience) maybe take my science electives
2015-2016- if i decide to pursue a DPT degree, hopefully i can complete all the requirement and enroll into a DPT program
2016-2020 - finish up DPT school
2010 - BECOME A DPT :)
well those are my goals for my carreer as a PTA, let's c how this will go, i wish i enroll in a DPT program straight out of high school :( one of my regret in life :(
also on the side maybe use my personal trainer and business degrees to build something out of it, to this day I am still saddenned that my dream to own my own facility did not happened. :( but i have moved on so let's see how this will go. wll till then

Back for my end of the day journal still on my iPad got to fix my laptop tomorrow but yeah just got Rosetta stone and one of my goal for 2012 is to learn how to speak chinese I really want to keep this goal I know it's going to be difficult but if I take small steps everyday I think I will be able to a accomplish my goal besides that had a great day at the gym tomorrow and hope tomorrow will be just as good well till then

Back again this time on the iPad just got back from NYC where I spent the holidays good times but now it is time to prepare for the upcoming spring semester supposedly it is supposed to be a difficult time well let's see how this goes so yeah my goal is to keep a daily journal as much as I can my other blog was lost bc the blog website shut up damn all my post shit is crazy yeah can't believe that I hope that that doesn't happen to my posts that I am beginning to start now well yeah can u tell by the tone of this post that I am having a bad morning argh well till then

Wow, havent been in this blog for over a year and half, oh how life has changed. Right now I am currently in PTA school and my experience as a personal trainer did not go as planned. 2011 has not been very kind to me, been going thru a mid-mid life crisis, trying to find what I want to do with my life. Kinda weird how life turned out like this. Life was looking on the up after I graduated college in 2009 from Drexel University. Unfortunately I did not use my college degree to further my career. It really sucks to look back on it and realize all the hard work and all that was left was a piece of paper with my name on it. Still cannot believe that I am back at school and trying to still find my way thru life. Yeah that basically sums up my horrible 2011. Looking forward to 2012 and hope that the setbacks that I am been experiencing in 2011 will take a change for the better. The only thing that I really can hold my head to is that I am still training everyday and trying my best to find ways to improve myself both mentally and physically, I just wish I was at a better point in my career. We will see.

DL 215 Kettlebell Triceps Extensions (www.youtube.com/dl215)

Back again this time back with another video/blog entry and in this video I have some Lying Triceps Extensions. I usually perform these standing up but in this video, I decided to change it up and perform it lying supine. Also, I am using a kettle-bell in this video, but you can also use a trying dumbbell or E-Z bar. Well, here is a brief entry on why I love these exercises:


LYING TRICEPS EXTENSION

Lying on a bench with your arms extended overhead in a narrow (six-inch) grip, start the triceps extension by lowering the bar to your forehead or beyond. The upper arms are to remain elbow-tight and upright to emphasize the load on the triceps and guarantee maximum development. The triceps extension is a major mass and power builder. High reps pyramided with low reps work well to saturate the three-headed muscle.
The overhead triceps extension performed similarly from a seated upright position (wisely using a back-support utility bench) with the elbows straight overhead is another aggressive triceps builder. The employment of the bent bar is a popular alternate. Remember, tendinitis prowls. Warm up, don’t overload excessively, rest properly.

Resistance Band DL 215 Squat/Row (www.youtube.com/dl215)

Back again this time with another resistance band video/post. In this post I am performing a resistance band squat row combination to target the whole body. Add this combination when you want to target multiple muscles at once. Not only is it very effective, you will be able to work out in half of the time. Well here is a brief description on how to properly perform a resistance band row:

Resistance Band Rows

Rows are a very important resistance band exercise.


If preformed properly they strengthen the muscles in your upper middle back which not only help you maintain proper posture, but also help you build your full body properly.


Start: Attach the heavy resistance band to a doorknob or secure object. Walk away from the door until you feel the band become tight.

Assume an athletic stance, keeping your shoulders in neutral position, do not let them protract or fall forward.

Begin the motion: Keeping your shoulders, back in and wrists neutral alignment pull your hands towards your ribcage leading with your elbows.

Retract (squeeze together) your shoulder blades without shrugging your shoulders for a split second, then slowly return your hands to the original position without letting your shoulders protract and repeat the motion.


Modifications: Walk back further away from the attachment of the cable for more resistance. If you would like to increase stabilization requirements for the exercise you can stand on an unstable surface such as a BOSU ball, Airex pad or balance disc.
